The third episode of Pushpavalli season 3 begins with Pearl finding Pushpavalli’s stuff in her cupboard. She learns that Pushpavalli is hiding under Tara and Srishti’s bed and gets deeply annoyed.

Cut to the library in the next scene. Nikhil hasn’t yet come to pick up Arhaan. All the other kids have left. Meanwhile, Pankaj mocks Nikhil’s crisp clothing and his appearance. Nikhil arrives and listens to Pankaj but doesn’t pay much attention to what he says. 

While Pushpavalli enters Arhaan’s book borrowing and return details in the database, Nikhil strikes a conversation with her about his troubles in getting the consignment date for export to Europe. He asks Pushpavalli about her degree and why she chose to work in a library instead of a place where her skillset will be utilised in an efficient manner. Nikhil mentions that a lot of companies actively look for people like her. Pushpavalli, however, behaves indifferently with Nikhil, as if she doesn’t want to be friends with him again.

The next day, the tea boy notifies Pushpavalli that Nikhil has cancelled the consignment because he is currently not able to devote time to work. His mother is in the hospital. Pushpavalli had a plan to impress Nikhil by helping him get his consignment approved and win his trust but looks like her plan is failing. Anyhow, Pushpavalli indeed is a clever lady, she’ll surely find a way out.

Pushpavalli adopts a new plan, as usual. On that day, Arhaan is not supposed to come to the library since Nikhil is not available to pick him up. So Pushpavalli calls Arhaan’s school and asks them to drop Arhaan to the library. This way, with the excuse of dropping Arhaan, she will end up in the hospital.

Then she calls Nikhil and lies to him saying that the school bus accidentally dropped Arhaan to the library. In an attempt to help Nikhil, Pushpavalli offers to drop Arhaan to the hospital. Nikhil agrees and also asks Pushpavalli to bring change for two thousand rupees.

Meanwhile, Pankaj and the tea boy teach the kids how to play marbles in the library.

Pushpavalli reaches the hospital. She gives the cash change for two thousand rupees to Nikhil, however forgets to bring Arhaan along. Thus, Pushpavalli again lies to Nikhil that she has dropped Arhaan to his grandmother’s place.

Nikhil asks Pushpavalli to be by his mother’s side in the ward while he talks to the doctor. Pushpavalli hesitantly agrees when Nikhil insists. Nikhil suspects his mother is being kept in the hospital for longer than it is required. The assistant doctor doesn’t consent to show the senior doctor’s notes to him. However, Pushpavalli convinces the assistant to leave his mother’s file in the room. As the assistant doctor leaves, Pushpavalli sneakily changes the prescribed hospital stay from 7 weeks to 4 weeks in the file so that Nikhil relaxes and starts working on the consignment again.

The doctor had asked Pushpavalli to scratch inside Nikhil’s mom’s cast on her leg. Instead of a ruler, Pushpavalli uses her hand and ends up losing her engagement ring inside the cast. She tries to pull it out but fails. Pushpavalli starts to panic. Nikhil assures her that he will get her ring once the cast is cut off. Suddenly Pushpavalli is reminded of Arhaan still at the library. She rushes back to the library. She finds Arhaan sleeping in Pankaj’s lap. 

Pankaj is yet again beaming with rage. Why did Pushpavalli not take Arhaan along when she left on the pretext of dropping him? Pushpavalli lies again telling Pankaj that she went to her in-laws’ due to an emergency. Pankaj doesn’t fall into the trap because he has already called and checked with Pushpavalli’s in-laws. Then Pushpavalli lies again and tells him that she went to clear Vidyut’s debt. She explains her missing engagement ring this way. The story is indeed too absurd to be honest. Pankaj calls Vidyut to confirm if what Pushpavalli is saying is true. While Pankaj is on the call, Pushpavalli dodges him by throwing irrelevant statements and completely breaks his stream of thought. Thus, Pushpavalli gets away with her lies, for one more day.
