The episode begins with Arhaan waiting in the library to be picked up and go home. Nikhil finally comes to pick him up. He tries to chat with Pushpavalli but she ignores him. Pushpavalli asks Pankaj to deal with Nikhil. But even Pankaj is not interested since he has had a spat with him in the municipal corporation. Nikhil apologises to Pankaj for the previous day, appreciates his contribution and leaves. Nikhil does this deliberately to get Pushpavalli’s attention. He is successful in doing so. As he leaves, Pushpavalli runs to him and tells him that all things aside, she got slapped for him and he did not even thank her. Nikhil is unaware of this. He asks her when this happened and why Pushpavalli didn’t tell him earlier. Nikhil then caresses her cheek.

In the next scene, we see Pushpavalli’s phone ringing while she sleeps under the bed in the PG. It’s her mom on the call. Her mother scolds Pushpavalli for not visiting her in-laws even once since she’s been in Bangalore. She warns Pushpavalli that they will call off the wedding if she doesn’t make them like her. While Pushpavalli is on the phone, Vasu enters the room. She hears a few murmurs. She is suspicious that someone is in the room. She is just about to bend and look under the bed when Tara and Srishti enter the room and control the situation.

The next day in the library, we see Pankaj taking a harmonica class. Swati comes along with Arhaan. She hands over the gifts she’s brought from China for Pankaj. She then insists on staying back so that she can listen to Pankaj playing the harmonica. Pankaj agrees to let her stay.

Meanwhile, Pushpavalli finally visits her in-laws. She cooks Upma for everyone. Vidyut and Pushpavalli engage in a game of guessing the tennis player. Vidyut’s aunt asks Pushpavalli to cut apples. As she cuts the apple, Pushpavalli’s mother-in-law asks her about the library she works in and where it is. To avoid answering the question, Pushpavalli deliberately cuts her finger. 

In the library, Swati falls asleep due to jet lag. In order to not wake her up, Pankaj dismisses the harmonica class and weirdly enough asks all the kids to quietly warm their throats. He doesn’t even allow them to read because apparently, the noise of kids turning the pages may also wake Swati up.

Pushpavalli goes to wash her finger to stop the bleeding. Vidyut comes with a band-aid. Pushpavalli tries to avoid contact with him but Vidyut assertively puts on the band-aid. Pushpavalli is visibly uncomfortable. She is not able to take Vidyut’s kindness and attraction towards her. Vidyut asks Pushpavalli whether he is making her uncomfortable or scared. Pushpavalli masks her emotions and Vidyut quickly gives a kiss on her face. Pushpavalli is stunned. Just then she gets a call from Nikhil. She tells Vidyut that it’s Pankaj and asks him if he could give her a minute. However, she doesn’t pick up the call.

Meanwhile, Pankaj and Swati have an argument. Pankaj tells her that he doesn’t like Nikhil and asks if something is going on with him. Pankaj has been suspicious since Swati made Nikhil responsible for picking and dropping Arhaan instead of him. Swati clarifies that it is because both her mother and Arhaan are comfortable with Nikhil. Aas Swati leaves, Pankaj plays the harmonica and apologises to her for being so insecure. They both reconcile.

At the in-laws’ place, Vidyut’s aunt asks Pushpavalli when she is returning to Bhopal. Pushpavalli responds that she hasn’t thought about it yet. The aunt taunts her that she will not be spending time with her mother before marriage. After all, there’s only a month to go. Pushpavalli doesn’t know that the marriage date has been moved ahead. Vidyut tells her that the Guruji has changed the date. Pushpavalli panics and leaves.

Pushpavalli reaches the library. Both Swati and Pankaj are there. Pushpavalli asks to speak to Pankaj in private. She asks him for money. She tells him that when Vidyut and her tried to get close, Vidyut was repulsed by her body. She needs the money to get surgery to lose weight. Swati intervenes and asks Pushpavalli to leave this man. Pushpavalli acts miserable and tells Swati that her mom wouldn’t listen to her, she might listen to Pankaj though. Pankaj seems disinterested in talking to Pushpavalli’s mother as he is aware that her mom is rather stubborn. Swati forces him to do so. Pankaj agrees. The episode ends with a sigh of relief on Pushpavalli’s face.
