What The Folks: Season 3 Episode 3 Recap - Here We Go Again
In this episode of What The Folks, the family gets into a fight.

The episode opens with a comical scene. It is Sunday and the folks are lazing on the couch watching TV. There are no plans to step out of the house. A text message comes from their annoying family friend Dolly, which reads "Aap log ghar pe hain kya lunch ke liye? Main aa raha hu”. This is enough to get the Solankis off the couch and on to a busy day.
Along with Sudha, the folks visit the arcade to spend time with each other. Anita tells Nikhil that she herself isn't sure about having a child. Anita and Nikhil's argument has cooled down for now.
Meanwhile, the elders of the family start discussing the same topic. They want to become grandparents. Looks like Anita and Nikhil aren't going to get a break from the "baby-talk" anytime soon.
Kiran, Vandu and Sudha have made strategies to bring up the baby topic with Anita and Nikhil. Sudha will talk about it with Nikhil, and Kiran-Vandu will reach out Anita. The strategizing sequence of the episode is so boring that I dozed off.
Sadly, the potential grandparents do not get any positive feedback from either Anita or Nikhil. The couple is firm on their belief that having a kid is no piece of cake and that they'll let their parents know when it's time. This is a modern Indian couple after all. Their decisions should be their own and other people only need to get involved when there is something to tell.
Kiran and Sudha are not satisfied with Anita and Nikhil's response. They are doing the classic act: poking your kids till a baby pops out.
Meanwhile, Shreya tries to adjust to her new life. She hangs out with her colleagues and hits it off pretty well with one of her colleagues, Balan. I am looking forward to their friendship blooming in the following episodes.
Nikhil and Kiran get into an ugly argument which ends with the oldies walking away from the restaurant. Nikhil gets mad at his father for not informing him about making a will. Kiran snaps in retaliation that he'll live his life the way he wants. Nikhil expects a similar understanding from his father about the baby issue but Kiran isn't ready to adjust.
