The family is going to Hasmukh Kaka’s birthday party. It is supposed to be a happy road trip but after the previous episode’s cold ending, everyone is awkward. Anita breaks the silence with the story of how Nikhil crashed his father-in-law’s car. Shreya breaks into loud laughter hearing about it while shocked Kiran and Vandu look on at an embarrassed Nikhil. 

Anita is blaming herself for Nikhil and Shreya’s clash. Vandu consoles her - that there is nothing to worry about and everything will be back to fine in no time. Though what would be the point of a series where everyone is happy all the time?

Nikhil and Shreya put on happy faces for the occasion. They try not to argue. In fact, they succeed in staying away from each other without much awkwardness. Meanwhile, Nikhil’s professional life takes a difficult turn when he gets to know that the investors he was waiting to hear from, weren’t interested in going forward. 

Hasmukh Kaka is a cranky old man. He cribs about his confinement to his wheelchair. He blatantly makes fun of Nikhil’s height to which Kiran replies, “Maa pe gaya hai”. Kaka is hilarious. It is refreshing to watch the old man rant about his boring life.

Nikhil’s cousin Dolly, is a young divorcee. No, Dolly is not a girl, he’s a guy who likes to jerk off by thinking of his ex-partners. He is a disgusting young man who is pretty chilled out about his divorce. In fact, he loves his new bachelorhood because of all the sexual attention he gets.

Afterwards, in a chat with his father, Nikhil says that he regrets his decision of working in a startup rather than joining Kiran’s business. But Kiran doesn’t see his son’s decision in a negative light because Nikhil was brave enough to believe in himself and someone else’s idea.

Meanwhile, Anita and Shreya bond over a glass of alcohol. They talk about their marriages. Anita hates her job in Mumbai but coming home to Nikhil makes her day worth the struggle, while Shreya’s life is nothing similar to Anita’s. 

The next day, Shreya casually talks to Dolly about his post-divorce life. She is interested in knowing what made Dolly think that divorce was the only way ahead. Looks like Shreya wants to walk out of her troublesome marriage. At the same time, she spots Jason standing with Kiran, not too far from her. She is shocked to see him. Probably Kiran is the one who invited Jason to the function.

The episode ends with uncertainty about Shreya’s marriage. What will be her future? And what exactly is the problem between her and Jason? The next episode might have the answers.
