The Family Man Season 2 Trailer Breakdown

The much-awaited trailer of the second season of The Family Man released on 19 May, 2021 and it doesn’t disappoint.

The trailer of the second season of The Family Man starts with Srikant and Suchi at a marriage counsellor’s office. Honestly, everyone saw this coming. Srikant has changed jobs and apparently, now he has an actual desk job with a nagging boss. Atharv’s fixation on instruments still hasn’t gone away. Srikant and Suchi barely talk to each other and despite reconciliation efforts, their marriage has only turned bitter. This is the first half of the trailer that focuses on Srikant’s family. Then comes the action-filled second half.

JK is in Chennai in a hostage situation while Srikant is dying to get back to his spy job. And….Srikant is back on the field! An unexpected coalition between the ISI and the rebels has been formed which has put the country in danger. The action of this season is set in Chennai with Samantha Akkineni as the fiery terrorist, Raji.

Ofcourse, The Family Man is incomplete without its signature humour, a glimpse of which is given in the trailer. The 2 minutes and 49 seconds trailer doesn't reveal a lot about the much-awaited second season of the show but it is enough to excite the audience to watch it.

Strangely, the trailer doesn’t mention anything about the events of the first season of The Family Man. There were several unanswered questions at the end of the last episode, the most important one being about how Delhi will be saved from the fatal gas leak? I hope the makers provide a smooth link to the first season. I will be really disappointed if we are not given proper and satisfactory explanations to tie up all the loose ends of season 1 of The Family Man.

Overall, the trailer of the second season gives a sneak peek of all the new things that the show has to offer. It looks promising and I hope the upcoming season lives up to the audience’s expectations.
