Sunflower Season 1 Episode 6 Recap: A Heart Attack
Sonu wakes up to find himself in his underwear in Justina’s house.

The episode begins with Sonu waking up to find himself lying naked on a bed. We learn that he is not at Aanchal’s but at Justina’s place. She puts on her clothes and leaves with her boyfriend, who surprisingly is also present. Sonu gets up and looks for his stuff. He doesn’t find any of it. With no clothes except underwear, he leaves Justina’s house to go home. But his house is locked, and since Sonu closed the door properly, Justina’s house is also locked. Now Sonu is locked outside his house, that too naked.
In a different storyline, the owner of Sonu’s company finds that their secret product (a lipstick) has been leaked and is being used by his daughter. He is angry about the leak of his company’s product before its launch. He alerts all the department heads in the office to find the culprit. Meanwhile, along with his daughter, the owner arrives in Sunflower society to meet the person who gave the lipstick to his daughter. The viewers are aware of who that person is. It is the one and only Sonu who unknowingly finds him in the centre of every problem.
However, Sonu is loitering around in the corridor trying to figure out his way out of this bizarre situation he is caught in. He hears the footsteps of people coming. To save himself the shame, he jumps off the window in the hallway to hide. The owner and his daughter ring the bell of both Sonu and Justina’s apartments but no success. Meanwhile, Sonu is now in a situation where he cannot climb back up. So he walks the tightrope and somehow manages to enter the house of an old man through his balcony. The grumpy old man is suffering from a heart attack and wants to be taken to the hospital immediately. After some banter with the man, Sonu grabs his clothes and the two leave for the hospital.
Meanwhile, Gurleen is on her way to audition for a music reality show. She has come to Mumbai with a dream of becoming a singer. Gurleen and the driver engage in conversation about music, their favourite singers and songs in the rickshaw. She reaches the venue early so that she has time to practice. But the rickshaw driver, in an act of good faith, takes Gurleen to the side of a beach so that she practices peacefully in the company of some waves.
While at the police station, DG assesses all the evidence which has been collected from Mr. Kapoor’s house. After having a good look at each item, he leaves for Sunflower society. Who will be his target this time? It is Mr. and Mrs. Ahuja. DG beats around the bush for a while. He mentions newspapers, the negative news all around us, and a man’s actions being influenced by these news. Then he comes to the point and asks Mrs. Ahuja to bring the newspaper of 28th October (also the day when Mr. Kapoor was found dead). Mrs. Ahuja responds that they do not have that newspaper. They have sold all the old newspapers to the scrap seller.
DG pulls out the newspaper he asked for. He tells the Ahujas that he found the newspaper at Mr. Kapoor’s. However, the newspaper seller stated that Mr. Kapoor did not take the newspaper. So how did it get there?
According to the newspaper seller’s statement, he drops the paper at 7:05 am everyday and according to the postmortem report of Mr. Kapoor, he died at 7:15 am. Therefore, DG suspects that the newspaper which has been found at Mr. Kapoor’s actually belongs to Mr. Ahuja. Finally, it looks like DG is on the right track. On this suspicious note, the episode ends.
