A party takes place at Harshad’s house. Pranav and Bhushan are also present. Pranav tells Harshad about a settlement that has happened between SEBI and the brokers which might open the market after a long strike. On listening to this, Harshad plans to make a grand entry in the share market.

Meanwhile, Manu Mundra and Ajay Kedia along with their men discuss ways to bring down Harshad. They are sure that some fraud has happened between SBI and Harshad. They still have no information on how Harshad was able to return all of SBI's money when the market was closed. Everyone suggests Mundra to take advantage of his strong hold on the share market and extend the opening of the share market. Ajay Kedia plans to expose Harshad until then.

Now, we jump back to the same scene on 22 April, 1992, where Sharad Bellary goes to meet a financial journalist at the Times Of India office. After he tells Sucheta about the suspicious activities that are taking place in the SBI Head Office, she calls one of her sources and tells him about everything Bellary confessed to her. But, by the time she is back, Bellary is gone. Sucheta calls up Debashis. When they meet, Sucheta requests him to go and meet Sharad Bellary and find out if he is a real or a dubious source for her. After Debashis leaves for SBI Head Office, Sucheta meets her source. He explains to her about how banks keep their investments in the broker’s account so that the broker can bring them the best deals. Till the time they have money in their account, brokers are free to do anything with it, as long as they are in a stable position to return securities in time. This is not legal, but most of the brokers are indulge in such activities. Her source confirms that there was no BR issued in the transaction of Rs. 500 crores between SBI and Harshad. Sucheta tells him that this is a huge scam and becomes very keen to uncover his truth in front of the public.

Sucheta calls up Harshad and asks him about his failure to return securities to SBI. Harshad refuses to accept the accusation. He tells her that he is an expert in business and he cannot be proven wrong by anyone. Although he is arrogant in front of  Sucheta, worry still reflects on his face. This shows his overconfidence is slipping and he is in real trouble.

Meanwhile, Debashis visits SBI Head Office. But Sharad Bellary is not present there. So, he waits for him in the canteen. There he chats about Harshad with the other employees to find any additional information he can. They tell him that Harshad is visiting the office on a daily basis and he has returned almost the full amount by now and only Rs. 3 or4 crores are left to be given back, which will be returned by tomorrow. Sitaraman enters the canteen. They share their table and topic of discussion with him. Sitaraman asks them to stop gossiping about false news. But, the tension on his face conveys to Debashis that something wrong is going on inside the office. He tells Sucheta about it. He also tells her that Harshad is going to pay back the complete amount the next day.

Sucheta therefore, wants to take this story further. She needs to expose Harshad before he returns the remaining amount to SBI. But her senior, Rajdeep does not approve her article for publishing as she has no clear evidence in this case. So, she calls up Dileep, the executive editor and asks for permission to print this story. He wants her to bring at least one solid proof against Harshad Mehta. Somehow through her source, Sucheta manages to get in touch with a senior executive at SBI who confirms the news that Harshad was given Rs. 500 crores without a BR. He asks her to go ahead with the news but only on the condition that his name would not pop up. She agrees and submits her article for the next day.

The following  day, when she checks the front page of the newspaper, her article is printed, but Harshad’s name in the entire article is replaced with ‘Big Bull’. This makes her mad. When she asks the person concerned, he tells her that this was the safest way to print such a sensitive story.

Ashwin shows Harshad the headlines of the newspaper. He looks at Sucheta’s article and is taken aback. Simultaneously, all the phones in his house start ringing. The tension on the family’s face is terrifying.

It looks like the tables have turned for Harshad Mehta. Let us see what strategies he plans for his escape this time.
