The last episode of Pushpavalli begins with her borrowing money from her friend Bhavna while she packs to leave for Bangalore. Bhavna asks Pushpavalli how she landed up a job in Bangalore. Pushpavalli tells her that it was through her friend Pankaj, who is also an acquaintance of Bhavna. Knowing that Nikhil, the trader who Pushpavalli met at the Food Expo, lives in Bangalore, Bhavna asks Pushpavalli if she is moving cities in pursuit of Nikhil. Pushpavalli reassures Bhavna that she is not getting carried away and is leaving Bhopal only because of her new job in Bangalore.

Cut to Pushpavalli asking Tara and Srishti to break her leg with a pressure cooker. Pushpavalli thinks if she gets injured she’ll get Nikhil’s attention, as did Swati’s son when he got fractured. Pushpavalli is totally getting carried away, contrary to what she told Bhavna in Bhopal. She wants to do bizarre things. She insists Tara and Srishti do it but they refuse. Vasu enters looking for her pressure cooker. Tara and Srishti tell Vasu that Pushpavalli wants to break her leg. 

Tara and Srishti call Pearl from inside to do the job. Pearl acts indifferently at first and agrees to hit Pushpavalli, but she stops just before thrashing the cooker on her leg. Even Pearl is amazed that Pushpavalli is so mad about Nikhil that she is willing to break her leg. Right at that moment, Vasu comes with a hockey stick and hits it hard on Pushpavalli’s leg.

Pushpavalli then calls Nikhil and tells him that she has injured her leg. She asks him to come and take her to the hospital. Nikhil says that he won’t be able to make it in time so it will be better if she leaves with her PG friends. Pushpavalli insists that Nikhil come but he definitely doesn’t seem to listen to Pushpavalli. His mood seems totally off while he talks to her on the phone.

Then we see Pushpavalli at a clinic with Tara and Srishti. Pushpavalli calls Nikhil. She lies to him that it’s a fracture. Then she asks him by when he can reach the clinic. Nikhil tells her that it’ll take him 45 minutes. Pushpavalli voices her suspicion that Nikhil is coming from Swati’s house. Well, Pushpavalli is pushing it too hard. This seems like a total invasion of privacy. Nikhil does not respond and cuts the call.

The doctor comes with her X-ray and it turns out that her injury isn’t a fracture. She has got some minor bruises which will heal without putting a cast. Pushpavalli, however, forces the doctor to put a cast on her leg.

Nikhil arrives. He is in a hurry. He asks Pushpavalli if she is feeling fine and intends to leave quickly. Pushpavalli asks him to drop her along with Tara and Srishti at home. Nikhil, however, wants to rush back so he completely refutes Pushpavalli. The both of them are acting weird, to be honest. Nikhil was the sweet guy since the beginning of the show. This sudden change in his behaviour is definitely indicating that something’s wrong.

As Nikhil leaves, Tara and Srishti mock Pushpavalli. She could have easily faked a fracture. This would have allowed her to follow Nikhil at least, the two say. But Pushpavalli is not someone who gives up that easily. She picks up her bag and follows Nikhil’s car in an auto. I must appreciate her incredible desperation and dedication to stalk Nikhil.

Pushpavalli then goes on to sneak inside Nikhil’s house in order to follow him. While bearing the pain due to her injury, along with the fake cast, she climbs up the stairs to Nikhil’s room. She opens the door to find Swati, Nikhil, and Pankaj over there.

Nikhil is furious. He doesn’t believe that the same girl he met at the conference in Bhopal could do all these crazy things. Pushpavalli even kidnapped his dog Dukie! Swati tries to calm Nikhil down. Swati also considers that Nikhil might have misled Pushpavalli trying to defend her but Nikhil is not of that view at all. He confesses that he did like Pushpavalli but only as a friend. After hearing enough, Pushpavalli goes out and sits on the garden steps. She is visibly upset. Pankaj joins her from behind.

Pushpavalli says it’s because of Swati that she got into trouble in spite of knowing that her actions led her to this. She thinks it was Nikhil who paid extra attention to her at the food conference. He was the one who returned to her, again and again, to hang out with her over there. Pushpavalli breaks down. She has been listening to comments on the type of body she has since her childhood. She has been living with a mother who is not okay with the way Pushpavalli looks. And perhaps, when Pushpavalli received the slightest of attention from Nikhil, his kind gestures and acceptance, swayed her. Pushpavalli had never felt a similar way before, and this led her to do what she did. 

Then we are taken to two weeks later. We see Pankaj giving Pushpavalli her salary. He tells her to focus on her career in Bhopal, implying that Pushpavalli is finally over Nikhil and is leaving Bangalore.

In the next scene, we see Pushpavalli sitting at the tea stall. The tea boy gets her tea, along with a phone. Pushpavalli opens the phone and we find that she is still not over Nikhil. The phone shows the footage of two CCTV cameras set outside Nikhil’s house. It is a facepalm moment indeed. Let’s see how the second season steers the story.
