The episode begins with Golu conspiring with Guddu to revive the opium deal with the Tyagis.

In Bihar, Sharad brings Munna to meet his friend, Bharat- the elder of the Tyagi brothers. They have a friendly banter. 

Golu uses- Chota Tyagi’s attraction towards her to manipulate him into going against his family and dealing opium with them. Tyagi agrees to split the profits and they shake hands.

Guddu soon starts earning more cash since Golu has now expanded their business across Bihar. Guddu has become egoistic because of his increasing control over Lala’s business. He starts disrespecting Lala who then becomes more apprehensive of his relationship with his daughter, Shabhnam.

Later Guddu decides to meet the head of the criminal mafia in Balia, Shekhu. Guddu informs him that he is taking over Shekhu's men.

Dada tells Bharat that he has information that someone is dealing opium with Guddu in their area. He asks Bharat to find out who. Bharat overpowers local traders trying to get a name while Chota Tyagi fears being -caught. But still under Golu’s charm, he doesn't cancel their deal.

Back in Balia, someone informs Shekhu about Guddu being close with the doctor and his family. When Guddu goes to meet the doctor he finds his whole family murdered, except for the doctor’s little girl.

JP Yadav on the other hand has lost his patience. He is green with envy and gets his own brother, the Chief Minister killed in a car crash. It is suspected that Sharad Shukla has helped him plan this attack.

With the end of the seventh episode we see no character development.

Madhuri is trying to adjust in the Tripathi family while Munna ends up cheating on her. She, being submissive, forgives him. Madhuri is unaware of the rot that is in each family member’s heart.

Munna is still a child with no decision making ability of his own. But he thinks he is worthy and keeps asking his father for the reins of Mirzapur. 

From the start of season 2, Kaleen Bhaiya seems to have lost his edge. He doesn’t suspect his own family is betraying him even when Beena and Munna want nothing more than his head on a spike.
