In the last episode of the first season of Masaba Masaba, Masaba has a lot of messes to clean. The morning after the terrible show, she wakes up on the boat, tired and dejected. Her messages are flooded with voice notes. Dhairya warns her of the consequences that are about to come, Gia tells her to stay strong and Neena asks about her well-being.

Social media is abuzz with the details of the disaster and Masaba is brutally trolled.

Gehna tells her that Dhairya has called multiple times but Masaba is not in the state of mind to deal with him right now.

Masaba visits her weird therapist, Geeta. I don’t understand why Masaba is still consulting her. Masaba tells her that she really needs her help. In turn, Geeta suggests Masaba to go on a vacation as she always runs away from her problems. Geeta goes on to shame Masaba’s life choices. This is the last thing a therapist should be doing. Although Geeta’s advice is no help to Masaba’s mental health, Masaba takes it as a challenge and decides to face her problems this time.

Neena Gupta is at the set of her film with Gajraj Rao. Masaba visits the set and watches her mother shoot for her first scene. She is proud of mother. Neena asks Masaba about the show and apologises for not being there with her. Masaba puts on a brave face and assures her mother that she’ll move on.

Masaba reaches late at the meeting with all the investors including Dhairya. She is ready to take full responsibility for everything that went wrong. The investors are angry. However, Dhairya comes to her rescue as he defends Masaba and her talent. He gives her one week to fix the situation.

Next, Masaba reaches her office and sees the low spirit of her team. Her team is very sorry for whatever happened and Gehna is even ready to resign from her job. Masaba motivates them and tells them that this is the time to fix everything. She has an idea.

Masaba gets a photoshoot done of her team wearing the collection they designed. She wants to show off the beautiful collection which got side-lined as the show took a downward turn. Masaba uploads this photoshoot on Instagram.

We learn that Vinay has found a buyer for their house. Masaba goes to her old home to get the money. Vinay and Masaba share a moment and reminisce about their happy memories in the house. I love the relationship that Masaba shares with Vinay after their separation – without any malice or complaints.

Everything still needs to be fixed. Masaba goes to Dhairya’s office and gives him the money to compensate for his losses. Dhairya apprises her that the photoshoot she uploaded on Instagram has blown up. People are talking about it on the internet and applauding her creative problem-solving strategy. Seeing this, she gets emotional and cries happy tears. We see the soft side of Dhairya come out as he comforts her with kind words and a hug. She calls him a “nice guy”. In jest, Dhairya mentions something about his “energy” and leaves. Masaba takes a moment to realise what he means by “energy”. She immediately opens her phone and checks Dhairya’s chat. She realises her mistake and squirms in embarrassment.

In the next scene, we see people enjoying Neena's 60th birthday party. Dhairya is present and it looks like he has eyes only for Masaba. Vinay is also invited as he shares a beautiful relationship with Neena. Jogi notices Gehna blushing while she looks at Masaba. Wait, is Gehna attracted to Masaba? Guess, we’ll only get to know in the second season of Masaba Masaba.

Everybody has a fun time as they drink and dance.

After the good, bad and the worse, everything is settled. Neena thanks Masaba for the party and gives her daughter a nameplate for her new house.

Masaba fixes the name plate as she enters her house. A monologue about living life on one’s own term plays in the background. Masaba’s phone pings with a notification – her period is 11 days late. Oh no! Is she pregnant? If yes, then who is the father? So many questions, but no answers. We’ll just have to wait till the next season to find out what more drama unfolds in the life of the celebrity mother-daughter duo, Masaba and Neena Gupta.
