Dhruv and Kavya are back living under the same roof. Finally. 

But life isn’t easy yet. Dhruv misses Bangalore terribly, much to Kavya’s annoyance. He thinks Mumbai is too loud and the coconut water is too expensive. He keeps complaining about the television too.

Well, that last part may have been Kavya’s fault. She gave the TV away to her friends because she never watched it while Dhruv was gone. While they are in the middle of working out these issues, the bell rings.

Behind the door are Kavya’s friends. She used to host them regularly while Dhruv was gone and now they showed up thinking the plan would stay the same after Dhruv is back. 

And just like that, unexpected guests become another trigger for Dhruv. But he poses as a good host and offers to cook for all of them. 

Anmol, Kavya’s new friend from office, accompanies Dhruv to the kitchen and talks to him about his time in Bangalore. Dhruv is annoyed because the spices and condiments have been rearranged on the shelf and he’s surprised to know that Anmol knows her way around Dhruv and Kavya’s kitchen. She calls him “Dhruv bhaiya” and he is truly touched by the gesture because he has never had a sister.

Out in the living room, Kavya’s friends ask about Dhruv’s time in Bangalore and he talks about it excitedly. He feels angry at the guy who is from Bangalore and keeps disagreeing with Dhruv. “You’re not a local, that’s why you loved it so much.” the guy points out. But Dhruv truly believes that Bangalore is the superior city. It has no faults. “I think you are deeply depressed and need psychiatric help.” Dhruv tells the guy.

Awkward moment. The whole room goes silent. To me, it was actually incredibly funny. I loved everyone’s reactions to Dhruv’s bizarre statement.

The group is quick to excuse themselves after that, and Dhruv and Kavya are alone in the house again. After quarrelling and feeling out of sync, the two just decide to visit a local park in the evening where they can have a heart to heart conversation. 

Kavya tells Dhruv that she felt alone and empty when Dhruv left her. And Dhruv talks about how he feels that Kavya’s friends have replaced him. Especially Anmol. Kavya laughs it off because Anmol is like a kid sister to her. She can never compare Anmol with Dhruv! 

Once they are done talking, Dhruv and Kavya head back home. They are talking to each other at night, and Dhruv suddenly finds the ring his mother had given him. He doesn’t think about it and just holds it up so Kavya can see it.

Shocked. Shocked is the only word that can be used to describe Kavya’s expression at that moment.

What is this? A proposal? Like this? There were so many questions on my mind. But the time is up. We will only find out the answers in the next episode.
