Directed by Maqbool Khan, Khaali Peeli is an upcoming romantic thriller starring Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Pandey in pivotal roles. Khaali Peeli is a much awaited movie of this year, though the release date for the film isn’t out yet, the makers have released the teaser. 

Ishaan is a taxi driver who loves his kaali-peeli (taxi), and Ananya is a girl on the run. Their chemistry in the teaser is terrific. Ishaan seems good with his dialect in the teaser and Ananya looks convincing with her bold character.

The teaser suggests that Ishaan and Ananya are being chased down by the police. And they are trying to come up with a plan to get out of the lafdaa (mess).

Bombay’s (Mumbai) iconic kaali peeli has finally got an interesting role to play in this action movie. But does the taxi turn out to be a life saviour or not is a mystery the teaser holds.

If the trailer is anything to go by, the movie is packed with action sequences which are surely going to keep you on the edge of your seat. I don’t have high expectations from the storyline but I am hoping that Khaali Peeli will make for a good action drama film.
