Indori Ishq Trailer Breakdown
Indori Ishq is the latest Romance-Drama on MX Player.

Indori Ishq is an upcoming web-series starring Ritvik Sahore, who was also the lead in another MX Player original called Flames. It is directed by Samit Kakkad.
The story revolves around a boy named Kunal and the problems he creates for himself when he gets stuck in a situation of unrequited love.
At the start of the trailer we see the protagonist throw a man off a ferry because he gets jealous of the man for kissing a girl. Now I’m sure the writers meant it as a funny scene about a boy who is fed up with love. But psychologically speaking, within 30 seconds of the trailer we know that the lead is an angry, emotionally unstable and impulsive man.
In the next scenes, we see him breaking some girl’s heart and then there is a random scene where Karan finds out someone he knows is a lesbian. Later, we see shots of him becoming an alcoholic, chain-smoker and possibly an addict too.
Confused? Don’t worry. To ease your understanding, the trailer at this point goes to a flashback.
Karan and a girl named Tara have a high-school romance and Karan, as a testament of his love, gets Tara’s name tattooed on his body.
This is giving me Kabir Singh vibes and I’m scared.
Before we continue, I would like to clarify that grown-up actors dancing in school uniforms is not a type of trauma I easily recover from.
In the next scene, Karan says ‘Tara will never leave me’ Then we see Tara casually ask Karan if he would marry her. Flashes of their story hint to Tara’s personality changing when she enters college and voilà, moments after we hear Karan say those 3 words to her, Tara is seen sleeping with another man.
I can’t even begin to understand the amount of creativity required to come with such a clever plot twist.
In the next cut we see Karan moaning Tara’s name while sleeping with someone else.
Now we see Karan with a beard with no ambition in his life.
Just like I felt after watching this trailer.
The show will be released on 10 June and I am certainly not excited for it.
