Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar star in Alankrita Srivastava’s new Netflix movie. The movie’s trailer came out today and is already a hit among fans.

Sharma and Pednekar play the role of sisters living in Noida who attempt to shatter the glass ceiling and create a good life for themselves.

The story primarily revolves around the restrictions on women’s sexuality and freedom in a collectivist setting. Dolly (Konkona) and Kitty (Bhumi) bring out the different aspects of freedom by playing reserved and liberated characters respectively.

The trailer tells us the story of Kitty who moves to NCR in order to work at one of the late-night “hotline” services much to her sister Dolly’s dismay, but the story soon transforms itself into an intense drama, full of lust and deceit. 

The movie will also feature Vikrant Massey, Kubbra Sait, Karan Kundra and Amol Parashar. 

Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare is set to premier on Netflix on 18th September 2020.
