Based on Hussain Zaidi’s book by the same name, Class of 83’ is an upcoming crime thriller starring Bobby Deol. The trailer is trending all over the internet and Deol’s comeback as a police officer is creating buzz among fans. Inspired by true events, the story is set against the backdrop of 1983, Bombay.

In the trailer, Deol can be seen going on a hunt and kill mission for a criminal gang - an unofficial mission, his seniors have no idea about. Deol has assembled a team of officers, who trace down these rats and kill them one by one. But the trailer isn't a cakewalk, their motive gets a jolt when his superiors get to know about it.

A sneak peek into Deol's backstory hints at some family tragedy. The movie is not only going to be action-packed but also have a rollercoaster of emotions. 

"Kabhi kabhi order banaye rakhne ke liye law ki bali chadhani padhti hai", a character can be heard saying in the background. Undercover cops, unlawful killings of criminals, and police officers' struggling to stay sane - Class of 83' promises the adrenaline rush.

The movie is set to release on 21st August 2020 on the OTT platform Netflix.
