ChathurMukham is an upcoming Malayalam horror film directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. It is written by Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian. ChathurMukham means the fourth face. The movie portrays technology as the antagonist of the story.

The trailer begins with the protagonist of the story telling her mother about the importance of education and financial stability. Clips show her active on social media and well versed with technology.

Cut to the scene where she is recording a temple ritual on her phone. The ritual looks suspicious. Priests are dancing, drums are blaring and some people even have seizures looking as if they are possessed by demonic spirits.

Soon unexplained stuff starts happening to her. A tattoo of a leaf forms on her wrist. She is shocked to find scratches and wounds on her face. She starts feeling as if she is not living in the actual world but in a simulation, where everything around her is a technological illusion.

A man is seen trying to help her and figuring out the reason why the protagonist is facing supernatural technological angst.

The crux of the movie seems to be the danger technology can be if it turns against mankind.  

The trailer is well-made and is certainly intriguing. Also, the concept is pretty new and will surely garner the audience’s  attention.
