As the third episode begins, we learn that Ronny’s father has lost his job.
Then in the next scene, we see Ronny with Anwar and Kranti, taking a Rs Two lakh bribe from a young boy to get him admitted to a government college. No points for guessing, Ronny manipulated the poor boy by mentioning his uncle. The money is taken, but the work also needs to be done. The toil to get admission begins now.
Ronny visits the same man he went to in the previous episode with regards to train tickets. Santosh, the have-an-approach-to-everyone guy, gives Ronny a contact to get the admission done.
Amongst the two sidekicks of Ronny, Kranti still does make some sense at times. Ronny has been bragging about his uncle since the beginning. Kranti is unaware of the fact that there’s no uncle. He questions Ronny about why they are not directly taking help from Ronny’s chacha itself. But, Ronny is the leader of the group and alas no sense prevails in his head. He refutes Kranti and the three visit Santosh’s contact.
Santosh’s contact, Vivek agrees to get the admission done, but only in exchange for a substantial amount of money. He first asks for Rs Two lakh, but Ronny negotiates and closes the deal in one and half lac. He hands over three decks of cash to Vivek.
Next, we see a conversation between Ronny and his dad. His father suggests he take up a job. He wants him to start earning, perhaps even more because he himself has lost his job. Ronny however believes that ordinary jobs do not pay much. He believes in being his own boss.
In the next scene, Ronny, Kranti and Anwar enjoy a booze party. The teenage boy, Gaurav is also present. He seems like an innocent, quiet boy. Anwar and Kranti coerce him into having one shot of drink. Thereon, Gaurav begins to drink heavily. After some time, he is extremely drunk and does weird activities.
The next morning, Ronny receives a call from Santosh. Santosh asks him if he gave any money to that dealer Vivek. Santosh tells Ronny that Vivek has run away. Ronny, Kranti and Anwar go to the place where they met Vivek. The shop is closed now.
The three are now tense. How will they return Gaurav’s Rs Two lakh now. Ronny, Anwar and Kranti go and tell Gaurav the situation. Gaurav breaks down heavily. He tells them that it was father’s death’s compensation money. His father wanted him to become an engineer. Ronny asks Gaurav to keep faith. He says that he will definitely do something for him.
Ronny and Kranti talk to Kranti’s brother-in-law who lives abroad to try getting the admission done via the NRI quota. But this brother-in-law does not agree to take responsibility for an unknown boy. Then Ronny visits the counselor of a college in Indore but that doesn’t work either. He comes back home and asks his mother for money. Poor lady, as a stereotypical housewife, pulls out a pouch from the box of rice. The total money in there is only Rs. 500 which doesn’t amount to anything in front of the huge amount Ronny has to repay.
Meanwhile, Kranti receives a suicide note from Gaurav. It says that Gaurav will commit suicide if these three do not return his money in two days. Gaurav also writes that he has sent a copy of this note to the police. This scares Ronny, Kranti and Anwar.
Ronny thinks of selling his father’s car to arrange for the money. He calls his dad and tells him about this new scheme of renting their car and earning. Since his father has lost his job, he agrees, but first confirms that the scheme is authentic and not fraudulent. Ronny assures him of the scheme’s authenticity.
Ronny goes on to sell his father’s car without thinking about the consequences of this action. He then gives Gaurav his Rs Two lakh back. After taking the money back, we see Gaurav speaking to his father on the phone. Turns out Gaurav lied to Ronny about his father’s death. He then goes to a bar and we learn that this time, Ronny got played with.
