The fourth episode of Bombay Begums picks up right where it left off in the previous episode. At Ron’s place, Ayesha tries to process what Deepak did to her. Ron suspects something but Ayesha shuts him off. Even at work, Ayesha is distracted.

Rani scolds Ron and Ayesha for involving police in the case of Lily’s factory. After they leave, Lily tells Rani about what she saw the night before – Deepak forcefully kissing Ayesha in his car. Rani tries to suppress the issue but Lily blackmails her into getting Ayesha in Rani’s office to speak up. Ayesha, Rani, Fatima and Lily are present in Rani’s office. Rani asks Ayesha whether she wants to file a formal complaint against Deepak or not. However, Ayesha lies and says that whatever happened between them was consensual. Lily prods her to speak her truth but Ayesha lashes out at Lily for interfering in her life.

At night, Rani checks her inbox and finds an e-mail for internal transfers of employees in the bank. She sees that Ayesha’s transfer from the CSR department to finance has been requested by Deepak. She finds this strange and calls Deepak to cross-check with him. He says that Ayesha has a certain charm and he would like her in his department.

Meanwhile, Ayesha is in a terrible state of mind.

Lily talks to her friends about Sathe’s issue with the factory. Haider calls her but she doesn’t pick up.

The next day, Royal Bank is full of commotion since a video hinting at an affair between Rani and Mahesh Rao is leaked. The press repeatedly calls the bank and the individuals involved for a comment. Media persons gather outside Rani’s home. Rani is devastated at her home but Naushad comforts her. Strangely, he isn’t angry with Rani. Still, Rani apologises to him and promises to never see Mahesh again. How is he so okay with his wife cheating on him? Maybe because even he isn’t over his dead wife, Zenobia?

Rani attends the bank’s board meeting which asks for her resignation. She confidently handles the situation and manoeuvres out of the ‘rumour’ about her affair.

Rani thinks that the video has been leaked by FCB Asia’s Devyani. Rani orders Fatima to handle Afzal and Niyamat.

Fatima successfully facilitates the deal between Niyamat and a U.S. company.

Rani asks for an update about Lily’s factory. Ayesha tells her that a meeting has been fixed with the region’s factory association who will help them deal with Vijay Sathe. Rani also tells Ayesha that her transfer request has been approved and Ayesha will be working under Deepak from the next quarter after Lily’s factory is up and running. Ayesha’s face loses all colour.

At Ron’s place, Ron and Ayesha have a fight. He thinks that she has an affair or something going on with Deepak.

In the next scene, we see Zuravar call Rani a “slut” for sleeping around. Naushad, who should actually be upset, sits comfortably on the couch. Shai casually brushes off Rani’s affair by saying that it’s a free world and she can sleep with whoever she wants.

Fatima, Niyamat and the man from the U.S. company meet for dinner. Fatima and the American have some chemistry.

Fatima suggests to Arijay some options for a job. In turn, Arijay suggests that when the baby comes he can stay home and look after the baby. Fatima doesn’t seem to be in favour of this idea.

Rani cuts Mahesh’s repeated calls.

Devyani tells Rani that she suspects Mahesh’s wife to be the whistle-blower. Moreover, Devyani extends her full support to Royal Bank for the Ozonoh takeover. Rani appreciates this.

Fatima and Arijay are at the doctor’s clinic to discuss the donor eggs. The doctor asks if they would like to see a counsellor together. Fatima declines while Arijay says yes.

Next, Fatima is at Piya’s place. They talk about each other’s life. Fatima expresses her doubts about loving a baby who isn’t hers.

Ayesha and Lily sit for a meeting with the head of the factory association, however, it isn’t conclusive. Lily mocks Ayesha for being a coward.

Trembling, Ayesha knocks at Deepak’s door. They sit for a meeting and he acts completely normal as if nothing ever happened between them. They go out for a smoke and Fatima and Ron notice them.

After her meeting with Deepak, Ayesha breaks down in the washroom. She vents her feelings on an anonymous website.

Lily looks at Haider’s photo longingly.

Shai’s monologue about memories plays in the background.

This episode of Bombay Begums ends with hook ups. Ayesha hooks up with Chitra at her place. Fatima and the American man’s sexual tension leads them to a hook up. And guess what? Rani again meets Mahesh in his car and well...you know what happens next!.
