Bandish Bandits: Season 1 Episode 4 Recap
Radhe faces a dilemma.

Radhe tries to tell Tamanna that Panditji is forcing him into marriage. But she’s so excited about their new song that he decides to hold off for a while.
After a successful recording session, Radhe goes back home and requests permission to take Sandhya, his wife to be, outside for a little while.
Sandhya and Radhe go shopping and Radhe tries to come up with all sorts of petty excuses to get Sandhya into breaking off their engagement, but she’s not convinced.
That’s when Radhe comes clean to her. He tells Sandhya that he’s in love with someone else. He counts on Sandhya’s discretion and hopes she will do the right thing. However, to his surprise (and mine), Sandhya says that she has no problem with Radhe having a girlfriend. She even goes so far and says she just wants to “be a good wife.” Radhe can continue to do whatever he wants even after they’re married.
What? Who says that? She’s an educated and talented woman. Who is pressuring her into getting married like this? It’s very strange to see someone as qualified and intelligent as her to say such an absurd and antiquated thing. It’s rather shady even.
In fact, Kabir points out that Sandhya seems familiar and he has seen her somewhere before. What’s that about? Could it be related?
My curiosity is piqued now.
Radhe goes to practicing music with Tamanna and things don’t go well with her either. She doesn’t appreciate Radhe’s constant criticism of her work and asks him to rethink his priorities.
Radhe is clearly under a lot pressure, once again. How will he keep up with it? And what happens if she finds out about Sandhya now? It’s all very concerning and this episode definitely made me click “watch next episode” right away.
This episode was 3/5.
