The first season of The Family Man came out in September 2019 and was appreciated by critics and audiences alike. The world has gone topsy-turvy since then but the fans of the show haven’t stopped asking for the release of its second season.

After a teaser release in January, rumours have been rife about the release date of the show. The makers, Raj and DK have confirmed that it will be releasing this June on Amazon Prime Video.

Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger and a lot of unanswered questions. Here are all the questions we need answers to in the second season of The Family Man-

What will happen about the gas leak in Delhi?

At the end of season 2, Moosa and Sajid successfully enable a gas leak from Orion Chemicals. Within 2 hours, the whole of Delhi will be drastically affected and the gas has already started spilling. However, Srikant and his team aren’t aware of this plan and they think that Mission Zulfiqar is over as Moosa is dead. With thousands of lives at stake, how will NIA save itself and Delhi from this catastrophe?

Is this the end for Zoya and Milind?

Zoya and Milind are stuck at the factory without any backup. Moosa’s men are firing from the other side. Milind is injured and loses consciousness whereas Zoya is all alone. After all the effort that they put into this operation, will Milind and Zoya’s lives be sacrificed?

Will Suchi and Srikant be able to reconcile their differences?

Season 1 left Suchi’s narrative hanging in the air. At the end, we could sense a certain tension between her and Srikant which might mean that their marriage turns sour in the next season. Arvind makes her happy and she has found a faithful companion in him. We might see her realising her feelings for him in the next season. It will be interesting to see how Srikant and Suchi’s dynamic shapes up with their kids and each other while Srikant protects the nation from a looming danger at the same time.

Will Jonali be the next Kareem?

It looks like Jonali will play an important role in the second season of The Family Man. She is enraged after she sees the video of Kareem and his partners being hunted down and killed like terrorists. Kareem told her to fight to get justice for his life and it doesn’t seem that Jonali will sit quietly. Now that she has footage with Srikant’s face in it, the ball is in her court and she seems ready to take her chances.

Lastly, will Sajid be finally captured?

In the first season, Sajid has a lot of near-death escapes. With General Ansari’s betrayal, Faizan’s capture by the US, Major Sameer’s arrest by the Pakistan police and Moosa’s death - Sajid is the only person left from Mission Zulfiqar. After killing Moosa, we see him walking away with tears in his eyes. Will he manage to escape again? We never know...there might be another terrorist involved in the mission who we haven’t heard of this whole time.
