Directed by Prakash Jha, Aashram is an upcoming MX Original Series starring Bobby Deol in the lead. The plot revolves around a corrupt godman, simply known as “Babaji”. The story is a work of fiction.

The trailer opens to Deol dressed as a godman. People are worshipping him and the count of his followers is increasing exponentially. 

The Aashram is a boon for Babaji's devotees, where he tells them to let go of worldly desires. Looks like he is a prankster in the face of a godman. The trailer shows different aspects to the godman’s true identity. 

The Baba claims to lead his followers to the path of salvation, but his claims are a hoax. The trailer gives a sneak peek into Baba's crimes: murder and kidnapping of girls. 

The trailer seems to suggest that Baba has a way to get out of every problematic situation. Perhaps, the police are having a difficult time solving the Baba's mysteries. 

Aashram will release on 28th August on MX Player. What will become of Baba? I am eager to find out.
