Soundarya is gone and everyone is devastated by the intensity of the loss. Khan pays the grieving family a visit and puts Aarya under custody for suspicion of murder. Turns out, Shekhawat has died too. 

Maya finds out about Soundarya’s death from a mutual friend and quickly learns that Jawahar may have been involved. 

Bob decides that he will perform at the fusion festival after all, because that’s what his wife would have wanted. 

Aarya’s parents have a falling out once again and her mother starts consuming dangerous quantities of alcohol. Aarya picks up Sangram from the prison and takes him to the family’s farm instead of home. 

Once they are alone, she shoots him in the leg and asks him to confess to what he did. He admits that the heroin cartel was his idea. 

For a show that was relatively slow throughout its run, Aarya really moves fast towards the end. So much so, that it’s difficult to keep track of all that is happening.

Aarya’s mother confesses that she knew all about Aarya’s plan to move to New Zealand. She tells Aarya that her father had Tej killed. Adi tells Aarya that the man in the black clothes who killed his father was Daulat. 

Aarya informs the police while Aru and Bob perform verses from the Gita in their competition. The music runs parallel to the scenes of arrests and creates a beautiful scene that talks about Karma and how bad people have to eventually face their demons. 

Bob finds out that Jawahar killed his wife and attacks him. Jawahar lies on the floor lifeless as the cops escort Bob away. 

Everything falls apart.

But then everything comes together. Aarya takes her kids, cuts a deal with Khan and finally decides to move them to New Zealand. On their way to the airport, Aarya receives a message asking her “to pay up.”

The end. 

Amazing cliffhanger. Everyone is either dead or in prison. Who could be this message from?

We’ll only find out next season.
