Aru demands that Veer tell him everything about the contents of the flash drive. In the meantime, Aarya visits Shekhawat who proclaims that Aarya will handle all drug transportation in the future. An aggravated Aarya refuses to cooperate and heads home.

On her way, she meets Maya, who is losing her mind over Jawahar’s bruises and asks Aarya if she was responsible for the same. Aarya claims that she did it in order to ensure that he stays in line and doesn’t interfere with the trade. 

Interesting scene, in my opinion. Maya is perhaps the one character everyone can easily sympathise with. Her eagerness to gather information but inability to hear the whole, dark truth makes her relatable. Maya's performance in this scene is noteworthy.

Aarya goes inside the house only to find that Adi is sick. She tries to spend some time with him and vows that she will resolve all her problems very soon now. 

Turns out, the person threatening Pallavi was ACP Khan. It was a desperate attempt to obtain the drive. 

Really, it’s difficult to understand where Khan is coming from. Why does he think it’s okay to threaten a young girl to further his own agenda? Even if it’s police work.

In order to get rid of Shekhawat, the Sareen family heads to Tej’s favourite destination - their lake house - to submerge his ashes. Aarya realises that the money Tej had saved for his family is hidden under their boat and she informs her father about it instantly. 

Daulat heads to the lake house and helps extract the money. To distract all the people who have clearly been tracing Aarya’s movements, she asks her younger sister Soundarya to dress up as her and take Sareen's car so the person will follow her instead; giving Aarya an opportunity to get her house in order.

Aarya visits Shekhawat yet again and informs him that the drugs have been recovered. She owes him nothing anymore. Sampat confirms that the drugs are there and Aarya returns home, finally happy.

Maya’s painting is returned by Sampat while she is picking up her son at school. All the parents stand there and watch Maya interact with a goon in a public space. She finds out that the painting  was never stolen at all. It was confiscated by the goons and Jawahar never told her. She is angry and heartbroken.

Aarya eagerly awaits for her sister to return but instead it is Khan who comes bearing bad news - someone killed Soundarya thinking it was Aarya.
