Aarya Season 1 Episode 7 Recap

Aarya deals with the struggle of mixing work with family.

Aarya Season 1 Episode 7 Recap

Jawahar has gone missing and so has Aru. Aarya asks her kids to keep each other safe and heads to Shekhawat’s place. Shekhawat says that Aarya needs to hold up her end of the deal at any cost but she doesn’t know how she will do it without her partner. Her daughter is being treated as collateral in their exchange. She is tied up to a bench and being guarded by Shekhawat’s most trusted man, Sampat.

Jawahar has been with Khan all along. Khan kidnapped him and brought him in to extract a confession. Jawahar  expresses his concerns to Khan about how he was caught in the middle of Tej and Sangram’s battle. Later, he demands that Aarya give him his share of the money so he can quit the trade altogether.  He informs Khan about the drug consignment and Khan heads to the plant in order to bust the operation. However, Shekhawat shows up at the last moment and informs Jawahar that he is the man whom Jawahar owes money to and it would be in his best interest too, much like Aarya, that the drugs get transported across the border.

Jawahar makes the correct choice and informs Aarya about Khan’s arrival. She calls Inder and asks him to transfer the consignment to a different lot.

Khan’s plan fails once again but Aarya is not happy to know that Jawahar dared to conspire against him.

Perhaps the best part about this episode is the bonding between Aru and her captor Sampat. He shares a smoke with her, helps her find sanitary napkins and even slaps his colleague in front of her for using crude language to describe women. One could call it Stockholm Syndrome, but it’s still extremely interesting to watch.

Aru comes back home once the drugs are transported safely, she is truly shaken up and cannot even describe the day she has had. Her family still thinks that she has returned after spending a day at her friend's house.

Aarya decides to put an end to everything for once and for all.
