Aarya Season 1 Episode 3 Recap
Aarya tackles betrayal and interference.

Aarya is ready for revenge. She needs some answers and she needs them soon. She heads to the state prison in order to see her brother Sangram. Before she goes to the prison, she is confronted by Khan once again. He is adamant and is willing to do whatever it takes to bring down the drug distribution system. Avoiding him once again, Aarya heads to the prison and talks to Sangram. He lies to Aarya and tells her that the heroin business was Tej’s idea all along. He further adds that Jawahar cannot be trusted and he may be conspiring against the entire family.
I think it would help if we got a deeper insight into the drug problem in the state or why Khan is so desperate to prove his worth, because so far it’s been difficult for viewers to empathise with his constant interference.
Meanwhile Jawahar is being harassed by the goons sent by Shekhawat, the party who was interested in buying their product.
Aarya is utterly confused by this recent development but of course, she believes her brother and decides she has to investigate this matter in order to find out if Tej was hiding something from her all along.
Back at home, Aru struggles to deal with the untimely death of her father and starts smoking secretly. But her aunt’s new husband Bob (Alex O’Nell) introduces her to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and asks her to trust God’s process.
Aarya’s son is doing relatively better as he has found a new friend in Pallavi (Gargi Sawant) and enjoys her company quite a bit.
Aarya’s mother is upfront about how she feels about her son being in jail. “At least he is safe there,” she argues.
After watching her life fall apart, Aarya decides she will take over the family business herself and resolve any issues and rivalries much to Jawahar’s dismay who believes she is an amateur.
Quite an interesting episode as all the characters find a story for themselves, which makes it one of the best episodes in the season so far with a rating of 4/5.
