Bhasker is alive guys. And Kabir Durrani is his savior.

Lata returns to Brahmpur and talks to her friend, Malti. On hearing that Kabir saved Bhasker, she confides that maybe she was too harsh to ask him to run away with her, and shares that he wrote a letter to her while she was away.

Lata and Malti decide to join a theater group where Lata accidentally runs into Kabir who also auditioned for a role. This Shakespere play comes as an opportunity for them to spend time together. On the opening night of the play, Kabir visits his mother who is forgetful and is perhaps suffering from a mental illness.

The final act of the play is followed by a fun celebratory cast party. During the party, Kabir pulls out Lata from the crowd to talk about their relationship. However, Lata stands firm in her decision to stand by her family. “Our families are not the same”, she says. The conversation doesn't end well as Kabir walks out on hearing Lata’s remarks.

Maan too is back in Brahmpur and instead of going to his own house, goes to his friend, Firoz’s place. Fearing that his father won’t be happy to see him back at home, Maan contemplates going home, but Firoz suggests that it would be disrespectful.

Maan is finally reunited with Saeeda and both are happy to see each other. After spending time with Saeeda, he returns to his home. On seeing him, his father, Mahesh forbids him from visiting Saeeda again for the sake of their family’s reputation.

Haresh makes a to-do list, and of course seventh on his list is “make Lata love me”. He writes her a letter about their time together and his upcoming career prospects. In this episode, Haresh has a tiff with his co-employee and his boss chooses to demote him. Unhappy with the way his colleagues treat workers at the factory, he submits his resignation. In a letter, he confides in Lata about his job and expresses his feelings for her.

Ambitious Haresh, in pursuit of winning over Lata’s heart, visits the office of Praha, a leading shoe company. In his interview, he takes on the challenge of making a first-class shoe. It is heartening to see that he delivers and gets himself a job at his dream company. Lata also writes back to Haresh, and they continue to write to each other.

In Calcutta, Amit’s sister, Kuku is plotting Amit’s entry in Lata’s life. She encourages Amit to write to Lata if he ever wanted to stand a chance at a relationship with her.

Meanwhile, as political tensions grow due to the violence during Pul Mela, Mahesh Kapoor contemplates leaving his party. He shares his discontent with the Nawab who tells him to contest from his constituency and bring his son Maan. Mahesh is quite surprised to learn that his son, who is well-liked amongst the Nawab’s constituency, had returned to Brahmpur.

A Muharram procession led by the Nawab and his son, Firoz, is disturbed and violence strikes as a Ramleela procession is happening at the same time. Amidst the chaos, Firoz is attacked by a group of angry Hindus who force him to recite the gayatri mantar. Maan comes to the rescue, but both are followed by violent groups as they run to Praan’s home.
