Golu’s campaign is underway. The student body is excited to see a competent candidate, but Munna’s goons are unhappy and try to attack her. Bablu fights back to defend Golu, and Munna’s anger is out of control.

What a great start to the episode, Mirzapur creators really go all out. Imagine starting the episode on such a high note that the viewer is hooked instantly!

Munna wants Guddu and Bablu to feel the same anger that he does. So he abducts their sister Dimpy and holds her at gunpoint. There’s a huge car chase all over town, Guddu is losing his mind and his anger knows no bounds. 

Luckily enough, Kaleen Bhaiya find out about the whole incident soon, and Dimpy is safely returned to the Pandit household. “Why did you kidnap their sister? I need an answer right away,” Akhanda asks Munna. 

Munna tells him how Bablu is canvassing against him in the college elections, but Akhanda decides to stay out of the matter. He simply asks Munna to never trouble the Pandit family again. Only Guddu and Bablu work for the Tripathi’s, no one else in their family should be held accountable for their actions.

Once again, Kaleen Bhaiya comes across strongly with his refined work ethics, and Munna meets up with Compounder to discuss future strategies. He wants to “get rid of” his father and the Pandit brothers so he can finally rule Mirzapur.

Later that night, Guddu and Bablu are attacked by some goons. They call Akhanda, who is himself being attacked by none other than Munna’s friend Compounder. 

With the help of his father, Akhandanand manages to get a hold of Compounder and ties him to a chair in a remote room. 

After speaking with Guddu and Bablu, Akhanda is unsure of what to do next. He knows that they were not attacked by people from Jaunpur because that rivalry has already ended, thanks to JP Yadav. Guddu and Bablu are asked to lay low for a few days. They temporarily move to a small town near Bihar border. 

Despite Akhanda’s orders, Guddu is having a hard time staying off the grid. He starts thinking of this trip to Bihar as a work outing, meets up with potential clients who will help expand the gun business in Bihar. Bablu does not approve. He can slowly see his brother going crazy, and he doesn’t know if Guddu’s dark side was always a latent tendency, or if its the drugs and steroids doing their work. 

Back in Mirzapur, Akhanda tells Munna about his friend’s doing. Munna asks Compounder why he tried to kill Akhanda and Compounder does not tell anyone that it was Munna’s idea all along. Munna must kill Conpounder for his supposed betrayal now. But he hesitates. Compounder asks Munna to kill him using an Ustara (straight knife) and with tears in his eyes, Munna obeys. 

He truly lost a good companion. This scene was so heartbreaking. Abhishek Banarjee’s acting in his last scene made my eyes misty.

The next day in Bihar gets even more tough. Guddu wants to meet another client, but Bablu puts his foot down. He tells Guddu that meeting new people everyday is not a good move for them. But when Guddu gets angry, Bablu decides to follow his brother to support him.

Turns out, the new client is Rati Shankar Shukla. Shukla makes an enticing offer. He tries to convince the brothers to leave Mirzapur and join his business instead. He warns them about Akhanda’s intentions and tells them that Akhanda is loyal to no one. Guddu and Bablu will be given a lot more respect in Jaunpur. Do Guddu and Bablu accept this offer?
